Frequently Asked Questions

What inspired you to start writing?

What initially inspired me to start writing was my passion for crafting characters and weaving my own narratives. I've always had a desire to tailor stories to my own liking. Often, when reading other stories, I find myself imagining how I would alter certain aspects. Writing allows me the freedom to do exactly that—shape my own stories according to my vision and create worlds where anything is possible. It's this creative freedom that continues to drive my love for storytelling.

How do you come up with the ideas for your stories?

Ideas for my stories often come to me in spontaneous bursts of inspiration. Sometimes a plot will start forming in my mind gradually, or out of nowhere, a great idea will spark in my imagination. When this happens, I begin by jotting down characters, settings, and plot points in a notebook. I let my imagination run wild, refining and expanding the concept until it feels just right. From there, I keep developing the story, allowing my creativity to guide me through each twist and turn.

Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?

Absolutely! My biggest piece of advice for aspiring writers is to write consistently. It's important to make writing a habit, even if it's just a little bit each day. Don't worry about making it perfect in the first draft—just get your ideas down and let your creativity flow. Also, read as much as you can in various genres to understand different styles and techniques. Don't be afraid to share your work with others and seek feedback. Lastly, believe in your voice and your stories. Writing is a journey, and persistence is definitely key.

Which of your books is your favorite, and why?

Choosing my favorite book is always challenging because they are all very near and dear to my heart, but if I had to pick one, it would be The Reckoning. This book holds a special place in my heart because it was the first story I ever wrote. I remember starting it just for fun, without any plans to publish it—it all sprang from my imagination. After writing non-stop, I eventually read what I had written and thought it looked really good. I made some changes and improvements, and that's how The Reckoning came to be. That's why this book is the closest one to my heart.
